This press was upgraded by Lee in
2023. The new model has an improved priming and index system. It also features
a tool head that accepts Breech Lock Bushings, it does not have a 3 hole turret
anymore.
Parts for pre 2023 Pro1000’s are
becoming difficult or impossible to find.
The following parts are not
available anymore:
TR3975 – Carrier
TR2452 – Both standard and bent
Z-Bars and their attachments.
The following parts are marked as
obsolete and once supply has run out will not be available:
TR2438 Action Rod
TR2432 – Index Gear
To keep your press running as long
as possible follow these tips:
Lube your cases, even when using
carbide dies. This will prevent strain on the carrier.
Keep your press clean and well
lubed.
Do not force the press!
Do not overtighten allen bolt TR2435
on the ram! This is the main reason carriers warp and break.
Make sure of your die setup. Dies
set too deep will damage the carrier!
The Pro1000 has been upgraded in
2023.
It has a much better priming and
index system.
And is a much better and easier
press to use.
