Is your Load-Master not feeding cases all the way into the Shell Plate?

Or is your Case Slider hitting the top of the press?

So you have followed the instructions to set up your Case Feeder but no matter how much tension you adjust on the Crank Slider your cases are not feeding all the way into the Shell Plate.

Well the solution is easy.

Remove your Case Feed Rod by loosening Bolt FL3070.

You can now adjust the Feed Bracket (LM3260) by simply loosening the bolt on it. Then turn the Feed Bracket in one complete turn.

DO NOT USE BOLT FL3070 TO TURN THE FEED BRACKET! Rather insert a screw driver into the hole and use that to turn the Feed Bracket.

Line the bracket up, tighten the nut.

Now reinstall your Case Feed Rod and make sure that it is square to the feed tongue of the carrier, with a gap of 8mm – about the thickness of a pencil – between the Case Feed Rod and the feed tongue.

Reset the tension on your Crank Slider.

Your Case Slider should now insert cases all the way into the Shell Plate.

If your Case Slider is hitting the top of the press you can adjust the Feed Bracket out 1 full turn, this should give you enough clearance to avoid damaging your Case Slider.

At the top of the press stroke your Case Slider should just miss the top of the press.

You might need to play a bit with this setting to find the sweet spot. But make sure you only do 1 turn in/out at a time.

Hope this helps.
