The Load Master was discontinued in 2022…after 30 years of production.

The press was replaced with the Six Pack Pro. A bigger, stronger progressive with a great priming system and a tool head that accepts Breech Lock bushings.

The Pro1000 was updated in 2023…after 39 years of production.

It has a much better priming and indexing system, and it now has a tool head that take the Breech Lock bushings instead of a turret.

Lee is not manufacturing parts for these presses anymore. Both carriers are not available. A warped carrier on a Pro1000 will not index…same with a Load Master.

A lot of the other parts are also not available.

And with them not making any more parts the problem will just get bigger.

So, think very hard before you buy that old press on marketplace…today’s bargain will become tomorrow’s nightmare.

Rather save your hard-earned money until you can buy a new Lee Precision progressive press.

And when you are ready to buy anew Lee progressive read this to decide between the new models.
